About fifteen years ago I received a phone call from Chris Hall. He told me that he had read about my interest in the Internet in the newspaper. At the time, I had four modems in my apartment. In the earliest days of ISPs (Internet Services Providers), Chris and I became partners. Over the years, we built the business considerably, Chris arranged a merger with a larger ISP and then negotiated a very profitable acquisition from an even larger company.
